April 19th was my last day at Rosa Parks Middle School. I am so sad to say goodbye to all the students and teachers. For my last day the 6th grade students and Madame Tizon had a party in class. They drew me pictures, gave me gifts and cards, and sang with me. We also played fun games together!
I had a fantastic year at the school, especially with the 6th graders. We had a great time in class, and fun adventures. We went to the Mont Saint Michel and the cinema together. My favorite times were preparing for the Reading Challenge, and when we learned about Halloween!
I loved working with all the classes and teachers at Rosa Parks. The students are so kind and fun, and the teachers too. I enjoyed sharing my culture with the students, and learning about their cultures as well. I’m glad I was able to help them learn English, and I will miss the school very much!
